SOLYTE's Hard Launch

SOLYTE's Hard Launch

What if natural health wasn’t considered ‘alternative,’ but seen as essential to living a vibrant, balanced life?

That exact question sparked something about a year ago. And unlike most sparks that flicker and fade, this one caught. Quietly at first, then steadily, it grew into something grounded and full of purpose.

It became SOLYTE, officially launched in the Perth Hills on March 30, 2025 with our range of loose leaf herbal teas.

The Back Story

To tell the full story, we need to start with the heart behind it all: Stephenie (Steph) Borowiec.

A real-life Moana in spirit, Steph has always searched for meaningful ways to help people reconnect with the Earth, with each other, and with the healthiest, most alive versions of themselves.

After years as a yoga instructor and founding her first natural health community, The Conscious Crew, she followed a call to New Zealand’s South Island. The wild mountains filled her soul, but something was missing. She missed really sharing natural health, not just one-on-one, but at scale.

So she made a bold decision. To become a naturopath.

Humble Beginnings

Back in Perth, Steph dove into her studies. But if Moana taught us anything, it’s that you can’t just read about the journey, you have to live it.

While studying herbal manufacturing, Steph began to deeply understand the healing power of herbs and how to blend them with intention. It felt like part of the answer she’d been searching for.

Then came the realisation: most people drink tea, but so much of it is low-quality. Bleached bags, shredded fillers, and billions of microplastics leaching into boiling water. Even the better herbal blends often prioritise flavour over true health benefits.

None of them offered what Steph had in mind. Blends that are shaped by science, grounded in her studies, and created to actually support health goals.

That’s when SOLYTE’s Functional Loose Leaf Herbal Tea Range began to take shape.

Tackling Real Health Challenges

As a naturopath in training, Steph wanted to help people face their most common health challenges using nature's gifts gently, powerfully, and for long-term wellbeing.

She asked herself a simple but powerful question:

What are the everyday health issues that, if supported well, could truly change someone’s quality of life?

The list came together quickly:

  • Getting enough sleep
  • Balancing the gut microbiome
  • Supporting women’s hormones
  • Having energy to meet daily demands
  • Staying focused at work or while studying
  • Managing fat storage
  • Ridding the body of built-up toxins

It felt like the perfect place to begin.

What followed was deep research, weeks of reading clinical studies and tapping into traditional wisdom to find the most effective herbs for each of these goals.

The Birth of SOLYTE’s Tea Range

From those seven core health needs came seven unique herbal blends, each crafted to align with the body’s natural rhythms and support genuine transformation.

SOLYTE’s first range includes:

  • Deep Rest
  • Organic Gut Health
  • Organic Women’s Blend
  • Organic Energiser
  • Organic Brain Booster
  • Organic Fat Burner
  • Organic Detox

Each one created with care, backed by research, and ready to meet people where they are.

Not So Fast...

After months of development, taste testing, and gifting literally thousands of dollars’ worth of product to friends and family for feedback, SOLYTE was finally ready to launch.

Then, just hours before the event, came the one thing no one could control—rain. And not just any rain, but thunder and lightning after the hottest March week Perth had seen in years.

At 2am, Steph was jolted awake by the storm. The event was meant to be held at the stunning Annasha Day Spa in the Perth Hills. The plan was for guests to gather outdoors in the garden. Every detail was perfectly set.

Now, it was all at risk.

Steph lay awake, running through backup plans in her mind. With the forecast still shifting, the decision was made to adapt on the fly. Chairs would be moved indoors for the morning, and if the skies cleared, they’d shift back outside for the celebration.

By 5am, Steph was en route to the hills. At 5:30, a call came from Anna, the soulful owner of the spa. She’d sensed the rain and woke early to help, despite rarely being up before 9.

By 6, the crew arrived—Steph, Anna, Steph’s mum Natalie, and her partner (myself)—drying chairs and transforming the indoor space with love and determination.

By 8am, everything was ready.

Then came more helping hands—Steph’s friends Georgia and Moon, and her sister Nikita, who curated the most amazing breakfast platter you’ve ever seen. Fresh fruit and delicious pastries all served alongside our teas.

By 9am, our guest naturopath Amy Parin arrived, as did live music performer George Dacheff. Everything was set. Rain or not, the day was going to be something special.

A Day to Remember

And it was.

The morning began with a beautiful sound meditation that grounded the group.

Guests floated in wearing soft garden party and high tea dresses, full of warmth and excitement.

Our herbal teas were served just as Steph had imagined:
Women’s Blend, iced with honey and fresh strawberries
Energiser, warm with lemon and mint
Gut Health, steeped with oranges and a touch of honey

Giveaways brought smiles. Amy’s workshop inspired. Steph gave a powerful speech about her journey to date. George’s music carried through the courtyard like sunshine after the storm.

And most importantly, the tea? Loved.

Guests lingered, shared stories, laughed, and left feeling more connected—to nature, to themselves, and to something bigger.

It was the perfect beginning.

SOLYTE is now open for business—and this is just the start.

Soon to come: an expanded natural health range, a move into holistic beauty products, farmer's markets and local business partnerships.

We can’t wait to share with you what's on its way...
